The plans above cover one parish, however many Masses it has, and a cluster kept as a single register is simply a large one. - How much does Memento cost?
- Memento starts at $24 per month paid yearly, or $29 per month paid monthly, for a parish with up to 8 Masses in an ordinary week. Larger parishes pay more, up to $89 per month. The price depends only on the size of the parish, and every feature is included at every size. There are no add-ons, no per-intention charges, no per-user fees, and no setup fee. The one charge that depends on use is $0.50 for each Mass card your parish mails. Founding parishes pay 40% less for three years.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes. 60 days, which is long enough to run a full bulletin cycle and a month of offerings before you decide. We ask for a card when you start, nothing is charged during the trial, and the first payment is taken at the end of it unless you have cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings.
- Do we have to pay for a year up front?
- No. Monthly billing is available with no annual commitment, and you can cancel at any time. Paying annually is 2 months free at every size, so a parish pays for ten months and gets twelve. The table above gives both figures for each size.
- Is there any charge besides the plan?
- One, and only if your parish mails Mass cards: Memento adds $0.50 to your bill for each card you mail, counted at the end of every month and shown on your billing screen before it is charged. On a monthly plan it is a line on your next bill; on an annual plan it is charged once it comes to $5 or has waited three months. Emailed cards and cards collected from the office are never charged. Whatever you charge families for postage is paid to your parish, and nothing is ever taken from an offering.
- Is there a setup or migration fee?
- No. There is no calendar to build. You describe a normal week once and every future date follows from it, and we import your existing register or spreadsheet at no charge.
- Do you take a percentage of Mass offerings?
- Never. Canon 947 requires that even the appearance of trading in Mass offerings be avoided, so 100% of every offering stays with the parish. We charge the parish a subscription based on the size of the parish, and it does not vary with what is given.
- What does it cost for multiple parishes or a whole diocese?
- One parish is one plan, whatever its size, and a cluster kept as a single register is simply a large parish. Separate parishes each keeping their own register, and diocesan-wide agreements, are priced per arrangement: contact us and we will quote it.
